Our new tenant
Doc Duck

Our new tenant (Cyanistes caeruleus)

Spotted this guy (or gal) with a beakful of nesting materials in a shrub just outside the dining room window. When he (or she) flew off, it was a beeline to our new nesting box. Yay :D We have a tenant. A bit of a backwards contract. I think we're paying rent in the form of sunflower seeds ;) Hopefully, we'll get paid back with views of juveniles as Summer progresses, and then a garden full of Blue Tits to cheer us up through Fall and Winter.

A beautiful little tenant too. One that should not keep you awake on Friday and Saturday nights with loud music. Beautiful close-up! Three fabulous posts today Doc!!!!!
