So cute!!! Do they really hibernate? Or do they just sleep more of the time than in summer? We see them in the parks here in winter as well, although they aren't as red in their winter coats.

Yeah! I think you're right Ann, we just 'talk' about them hibernating, but they do come out on nicer days I think.

Our native red ones, are must less troublesome than the introduced Grey Squirrel. They're a delight to see, they really are.
