Very well done on your Lifer Jason.

If these are anything like our oycs, I just love them!! A super picture you've taken of him - you've handled the exposure so well, I often get it wrong and blow the whites!!

Jason, if I'm lucky I see the Indigo Bunting for a day or two each spring seasons.

Sadly, no I didn't Jason. The visits were far too brief, and in fact two of the visits I only realised he was there as he was flying away.

I did get some pictures of one back in the autumn... this is one of them: http://www.birdforum.net/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=550488

I'm not sure if this is a female or a juvenile, if a juvie, it's possible that today's one is the same bird now grown up (it would be nice to think so, wouldn't it LOL).
