Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui: Nymphalidae) Wingspan 5.1-6.4 cm (2.0-2.5 in).
Habitat
Gulf Coast Marshes and Prairies vegetation area. Borrow ditch of Sharpe Road with a secondary growth woodland along its margin at 51 m (167 ft) elevation.
Location
Sharpe Road west of Paul D. Rushing Park, Katy, Harris County, Texas, USA.
