Storks are unable to give
calls and songs like other
birds ... as they lack
throat apparatus for
that ...
They are mostly silent
... but occasionally produce
guttural sounds ... though
this is an uncommon
event ...
The Painted Stork seen
in this recording is seen
doing so ... and the sound
is heard clearly though
splayed due to slow motion
run ...
Other calls, heard initially
are of Red-wattled Lapwings ...

Very relaxing ambient music and unhurried, otherwordly calls. Watching this video felt like seeing a nature documentary on TV. It's easy to forget what majestic and imposing birds storks are when you get used to having a white stork's nest nearby.
