Pair of Scarlet Macaws (Ara macao)

This pair of wild macaws was feeding in a tree near one of the main trails at Cararra National Park, Costa Rica. Others were feeding noisily nearby. Seeing them in the wild is so much more satisfying than seeing them as captive birds.
