Oh yes.... a nice bird that... and the harterti subspecies I see. I don't remember seeing one of them coming in before.

Thanks. Had the white tailed sub species fly right by me a few miles away that same weekend. Too quick for my camera though

Your not kidding Pappa Smurf, I have had one of those thorns go right through the sole of a heavy walking boot!

fabulous bird, but please don't say much about the location in any local media, the hunters has became mad. they follow our instagram and twiter profiles and go after the birds.
