Part of a busy bird day (Dendroica coronata)

This past Saturday was probably one of the best days for visiting birds although the heavy cloud cover left much to be desired for lighting. I'm still on this manual focusing kick
Location
Myrtle Beach SC
Date taken
03 Jan 2009
Scientific name
Dendroica coronata
Equipment used
Nikon D50 - Sigma 70-300 Macro and some playtime in Photoshop incorporating 6 layers
Manual focusing, eh? There's something to be said for trusting your own eyes. Nice shot, KC, with a gorgeous bg!

What a beautiful shot of this pretty little bird KC! It's good to see so many birds passing through there - it makes the birding exciting when newbies keep turning up. :t:

:bounce: Wonderful shot, KC, and manual focusing? (WOW)  Great to know you had a super-duper birding day, I'm longing for another one of those days, they are so exciting!!! o:)
