Pastel colours~Tufted Coquette (Lophornis ornatus)

Here is another piece incorparating pastles and black paper. I think the pastles make the picture look neon and suits the plumage of hummingbirds.
Ive been busy lately as im working on illustrating and entire deck of cards with various hummers for all over the new world, the best ones might make it on here...anyone want to buy a deck of cards?;)

Wow, I love all the species of Coquettes, hummingbirds are so special and the Coquettes are the crown jewels of the hummers. Gorgeous work Sam!!!
