Peaceful Dove

Peaceful Dove (Geopelia placida)

The barbed wire was a popular resting place for the birds at the sewer works. On updating my sightings in eBird, recently, I found that they give the Sewer Works a long name: Broome South Wastewater Treatment Plant! We really enjoyed our time there, but had to watch the clock as our cruise ship would sail without us, if we didn't get back in time and we still had to get the car back to the rental place!!
