Peeping stilt (Himantopus himantopus)

Standing on a narrow grassy causeway in the middle of the marsh I tried to keep still so as not to disturb that stilt. But I am sure it was fully aware of my presence as it kept peeping through the reeds.

Lol, I am sure it knew you were there Joelle, but at some level it certainly accepted you. Love that peeping through the reeds at you. Brilliant picture!!!!
