lots of them around the city but always flying.

Yeah, until their broods hatch, they don't do much perching. This is a beautiful image of this Swallow g/f.

That's the only chance I ever get to photograph them, when they're sitting on a wire... but they're usually too high up LOL.

What a great picture you've got of this one Doux... you've capture his colours beautifully. Well done lass.

Always amazes me that we have the same species so far away, but not in Europe and the US! A lovely detailed, colorful image Doux!! tfs it!
 
Like Bob, I'm amazed these birds are spread out all over the world. This is excellent, the lighting was great along with that pose.
