Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus macropus)

We are privileged to have a pair of Peregrines nesting a few kilometres from the house, so we visit each year in the spring. This is probably the female, although they are known to share parenting roles.

OK, so now we're even. You're still waiting for your first Kingfisher; I'm still waiting for my first Peregrine. Excellent shot, and congrats on having them as "neighbors" |=)|
