This is a very intimate shot Ove. I guess you weren't far from that bird, and it knows you're there. To quote JA Baker (The Peregrine): “The eyes of a falcon [ie female] peregrine weigh approximately one ounce each; they are larger and heavier than human eyes”. But this Peregrine sees no danger, and has no interest in you.

At two thousand feet, or perched on a branch, it is the supreme raptor. A superb image.
