Gulf Coast Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, coastal prairies and pastureland with some secondary coastal woodlands at 5 m (16.4 ft) elevation.

West of the entrance to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge along Smiths Ranch Road (FM 1985), Chambers County, Texas, USA
