Peregrine with prey over Alcoy (Falco peregrinus)

  • Gleb Berloff
Another shot from yesterday. Something about this bird even from a distance looked wrong. I could tell it was a falcon, but when I zoomed in on it I saw it was a peregrine visibly struggling to lug a pigeon it had caught towards Barranc del Sinc. With aperture mode on and in my opinion not enough time to switch mode, it took me three tries before I managed to focus on it, even then the image blurry. But unique nonetheless!

That was a great spot Gleb.

Very well done getting the action there.

Excellent capture of this falcon with its prey against a beautiful blue sky. First-rate Gleb!
