Peregrine (Falco peregrinus)

Hi everyone, been very busy lately with classes and garden cleanup now that most of the snow has melted. Thought you'd be intersted in an update on our Peregrines. This beautiful fellow has not been seen for three weeks now and in fact this was the last time I got a photograph of him. He's been replaced by another male bird that has been banded. The new bird is a three year old and was fledged in Amherst, MA. The new male is apparently in pre-courtship behavior and we are crossing our fingers that this new bird pair bonds with our resident female.
