Peregrinelet with moon-carrot (Falco peregrinus)

The peregrinelets were much less active than before and, as I waited for the glow-worms, I noticed that a peregrinelet was preening itself right next to an extremely rare moon carrot. This plant grows in only 3 places in the UK, and the Cherry Hinton chalk pits are one of them. Some live up the cliffs like the peregrines do, but some live in a completely unexpected place.
