Peruvian Meadowlark (Sturnella bellicosa subsp. bellicosa) Male, species sexually dimorphic. Photographed in disturbed foothills in Ciudad Catamayo, Loja Province, Ecuador. Inter-mountain valley between the eastern and western Andes at ca.1,897 m (6,223 ft ft) elevation. Similar to Tumbesian dry forest.
