That's a lovely picture you've taken Foxhal.

I think it's a weaver, possibly one of the 'masked' ones, so you could try looking at [COLOR="Blue"]this page[/COLOR] to see if you can find a likely candidate. There are a lot of weaver species I Tanzania.

Otherwise, you'd best do as KC suggested and ask in the ID forum - they'll soon help you out.

It's lovely to see you posting again.

I think that this is a male Speke's Weaver (Ploceus spekei). It has a pale eye and no black on the forehead or crown. I hope you are in the north of Tanzania otherwise I will have to rethink.
