Picturesque Pica (Pica pica)

A trio of shots from my most recent visit to Leighton Moss a couple of weeks back.

Bit of a habitat shot here but I don't know if it looked better as portrait or landscape as the landscape would obviously have shown more of the reedbed. I've gone with portrait but outside input would be most welcome.
Habitat
Reedbed and woodland
Location
Leighton Moss RSPB
Date taken
Jan 09
Scientific name
Pica pica
Equipment used
Canon 40 D + 100-400mm L IS USM
Oh, I think this is great just the way it is, Adam, makes a beautiful and different Magpie picture, the setting is lovely and it's worth to be shown (in fact, love the branch popping out of the reeds)!!! o:) :t:
