Found another shot from a series taken in the garden earlier on in June. This Magpie was a regular visitor to the birdbath back then, but not seen in the garden as much recently.

Looks like an old Chinese fan made of goose feathers.
Cannot figure out why this maggie acted like a mallard in search of food!
