Pied-billed Grebes (Podilymbus podiceps podiceps) Adult (L) and 1st yr bird (R).
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetation area. Open, rain filled depressional wetland, otherwise a flat turf farm surrounded by agricultural fields at 74 m (243 ft) elevation.
Location
Tritex Grass Farm, northwest of Bryan, Sims Lane Cut-off, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
