Pied Flycatcher and flailed hedge.

Pied Flycatcher and flailed hedge.

I found the patterns in the flailed hedge very inspiring, and having bought oil pastels, I thought about doing a redo of this painting using acrylic over the oil, and then scraping it off to leave the shapes of the broken branches.
This is a great painting. The composition again is unique with the needly brush pointing at and framing the bird. Great Stuff!!
