Pied Flycatcher

Soon be their time on my hit list again. This is the female, and was busy building a nest last April, amongst the woods near the hide. I really hope they return this year. It's a fair drive to see them, but it's so worthwhile.

Three good uns again Pete, see these birds in Norway last year, but couldn't get near em mate.

They are very attractive birds - we're lucky enough to have them where we live but I don't often get pictures of this quality.

Cracking bird m8, we used to travel from north london all the way to the wye forest to see these birds.

Thanks Pete, good luck with seeing them this year m8.

Three super shots as always Pete. This is a beautiful image of a very pretty little bird with a stunning backdrop. Very nice indeed.
