Pileated Woodpecker, a re-post (Dryocopus pileatus)

A repost from awhile ago. Thought a few of the newbies would like to see the wing span on our Pileated Woodpeckers. Looks like a piano keyboard.

wow!! a fabulous photo, KC, those wings look indeed like an invitation for some musical improvisation, top class, many tfs!!
