This male flew in to my location, and that's the way it always seems to happen. I've tried stalking when hearing them, but they always seem to catch me.

Great close-up of this handsome woodpecker Teto. They are a keen species, I have never had luck trying to sneak up on them either. Brilliant picture!!!!
