Plain-bellied Emerald (Amazilia leucogaster)

Our cruise ship has now reached "Devil's Island" off the coast of French Guiana. There are 3 islands and we were allowed several hours to explore the largest island where the ruins of the penal colony still exist! Didn't seem to be many birds around at first, but later in the afternoon we saw this little gem!
