Plumbeous Water-Redstart - male
Another shot of this very friendly Redstart I came across last month. I'm off to the Philippines for two weeks tomorrow so my last photo until I get back.

Plumbeous Water-Redstart - male (14cm).

The most common Redstart on Taiwan. Race affinis is endemic to Taiwan. Both the male and female are blue. The male is a brilliant blue with a red tail. The female is a duller greyish-blue with a white tail.
Habitat
Forest streams from 500-2000m.
Location
Dahsuehshan area , Taichung County, Taiwan
