Plumed Whistling Duck with chicks (Dendrocygna eytoni)

This is our first breeding record for Plumed Whistling Ducks on our place.Saw these today with two chicks.They had their nest on the ground among tall grass next to our dam

So sad I didn't see these (only the wanderers). They're a fabulous looking duck.
