Plumes
On the far side of the river scrambling around the rocks was a Little Egret showing off his long breeding plumes.

You know, I've never seen a Little Egret in the summer plumage at home! That might sound surprising to some, but they've really not colonised Scotland as yet.
Habitat
Freshwater lake
Location
Oxenford Weir, Gold Coast, Queensland
Date taken
18 October 2019
Scientific name
Egretta garzetta nigripes
Equipment used
Nikon Coolpix P900 Birdwatching mode
This Little Egret in his white suit is
the double of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, D.
I bet John Travolta can't catch fish like him, though. A brilliant shot. He's shining.

A good natural image of this handsome looking bird Delia, feathers are looking a little wind-swept! t.f.s.

Wonderful plumage to show of this beauty Delia. A brilliant well taken and colourful capture, well done.
