Pointe de Minard

Thank you for the lovely comments on yesterday's view. This is another view along the north Brittany coastline. All my photos are of landscapes - the birds hid! I've never seen so few birds on a holiday!

a wonderful photo, Kits!! excellent composition, a lot of depth with that splendid sky, top quality work, many tfs!!!!

The beach and boats
nicely displayed beneath
that beautiful cloudscape,
Kits. A lovely portrait.

A beautifully-composed image of a lovely spot, Kits. I like the mass of high clouds and the small boats on the mudflats.Birdwatching in summer in my area can be frustrating. One day , you see lots of 'good' birds and on the next day you see nothing at all in the same spot.I think maybe there is too much touristic pressure on the Brittany coast line.

Another lovely evocative landscape, carefully composed and framed. It recalls "the shining gull-marked mud" from a Philip Larkin poem, and I can hear the tinkling sound of bells on the boat masts. It's a pity you didn't get to see many birds, perhaps it's not the best time of year (there are precious few birds here at the moment). Looking forward to the next in your landscape series. Excellent work Kits.
