It seems ages since I've featured a Silver Gull.

I must admit I found it rather strange that this was basically the only gull to be seen in Queensland. There's only 3 gull species recorded for Australia in my guide (no doubt there's some vagrants appear though).

Can't help wondering why that is, when there's so many in Europe?

That really is quite od with such few specie counts of Gull. Glad you got this beautiful image of this Silver Gull which I had never heard of.
