Poplar Admiral (Limenitis populi)

Great shot at such a good angle

I was on my knees with my pocket camera, less than a foot away. The biggest problem in this scenario, it trying to approach from an angle that doesn't cast a shadow.

If you look at the Scarce Fritillary shot, you can just see my shadow, not a problem you have with a long lens.
