Poser blue jay (Cyanocitta cristata)

the day before the snowstorm was brilliantly sunny, and all the birds were feeding like crazy. I think they knew what was coming. This jay was no exception as every time I put peanut butter out he was all over it. Here he is at the base of the tree after knocking a large gob of peanut butter out then following it to the ground to gobble it. Doesn't he look smug?
