Practising (Ardea cinerea)

I still practise flight shots when I get a chance.

Some of them work and, although this Grey Heron was a little distant (way over the other side of the loch), it didn't work out too badly I think.

That's a great capture, Delia. You did really well.
I myself don't even try flight shots with my coolpix anymore. The couple times I tried I completely blew it so badly 😄
I gave up and gonna leave that for when I have a camera that lock focus on the bird and have all those goodies that cameras have but our bridge cameras don't. If I ever get one, of course 😄

As long as I can find the bird in the sky, I seem to do not so badly, some of the time anyway. You could try video setting. I've not yet, just thought about it LOL.
