Preoccupied (Arenaria interpres)

This Turnstone was one of two on the pier at Gorleston the other lunchtime. It looks a bit dejected but I think it was just preoccupied with finding food. Not that preoccupied though: as soon as I took the first shot both birds flew off to the other side of the harbour to resume their foraging and didn't return. Ron

They do fly off to the other side on purpose ... wicked! Good clean capture anyway ;)
