Pretending to be a nuthatch

There were nuthatches around at the time I took this photo, but I couldn't get any good shots. This little chipmunk was the next best thing.

Taking pictures of chipmunks is pretty much like taking pictures of birds. Except for the not flying thing. And except that they sometimes just stop, stay completely still, and stare at you hypnotically while you take their picture. Other than that, it's just like taking pictures of birds.
