Beautiful shot, this bird is the most incredible colour, and making off with part of a lotus by the look of it!!Thank you for sharing this one,happy birding

Isn't it amazing the adaptation of the feet? Large so as to distribute the mass over a larger area, thuss enabling the bird to walk on lily pads without sinking. How Darwin would love this. Nice shot :up: :up: :up:
