Residential neighborhood, Gulf Coat Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, barrier island, several small and shallow man-made ponds surrounded by coastal prairie and coastal live oak mottes at about 1 m (3.3 ft) elevation.
Location
Lafitte’s Cove Nature Preserve, Eckert Drive,Galveston, Galveston County, Texas, USA.

Mr. Jones, you take excellent bird photographs. One question regarding your technique, if I may: do you wait for that 'decisive moment', risking missing it but applying skill and emotion to your art, or are you of the faction that hits motor drive and then selects the best shot out of three hundred afterwards and insists on calling themselves good photographers?
