Purple Sandpiper

We ended our day around North Wales looking for Purple Sandpiper at Rhos on Sea at first we could not locate any but as the tide came in we finally managed to see 6 of these wonderful waders, one of those species I enjoy watching.

I have a real soft spot for these cute waders Tim... they're so brave standing on the rocks with the waves crashing around them.

A super picture this one lad - very well done.
