"I think this last one will do it!" (Zenaida macroura)

The Mourning Dove, so common from coast to coast in the United States, might easily be overlooked as a subject for photography. But when nothing more interesting happens to be around, this bird will at least give you time to test all your camera settings! And if you hold the shutter down for a set of continuous shots, you just may get lucky!
