The grey-headed fish eagle is a striking bird and an impressive hunter, with a relatively small head, longish neck and a powerful, grey beak.
Habitat
Frequents freshwater lakes, marshes, swamps, and along stretches of large, slow-moving rivers running through forests, and occasionally estuaries and coastal areas up to 1,525 m
