Lol, did you get a count Bernard? I am sure someone has a good estimate of their numbers though. What an amazing site this must be to see in person! TFS!!!!!!!!
 
About 60000 birds, Stanley; but just a part of them are to be seen on this image. Thank you very much again to all !
 
A fabulous sight of this gannet colony, Bernard. It must be a bit tricky to take pictures from a boat. Funnily enough, I have never been there myself. I saw gannets on Bempton cliffs.
