Rainbow Warrior (Sturnus vulgaris)

Now, a month and a half later, we're seeing small "murmurations" as the Starlings gather for their southward journey. But first they need to fatten up some more, so they're emptying the gardens around here of any left-over berries. But back then I saw them in smaller groups, and this one was cooperative enough that he turned his back to the sun so I could see all his iridescent colors. |=)|

I wish our Starlings would stay this color.
