This is the last of these.
On Wednesday these was a flock of Waxwings in the grounds of the school where I work. They stayed for several hours but it was too dark and misty for photographs even if I had had a camera. Not quite as bad today but too dark to photograph the 2 Red Squirrels on the feeders even at 1600 ISO. I find myself hoping for snow to brighten things up.
A great picture you've taken of this guy Graham... he looks quite cros about something, doesn't he LOL.
Shame about missing the chance of the Waxwings - I'm sure they'll be back for you though. It's too dark here too, to get pictures really, my camera struggles to focus at all. Oh!! just thought, I never think of changing the ISO, perhaps I should.
Cracking flight shot, Graham! And yes, I too am beginning to get impatient for snow. Last weekend, walking home from a hike at the botanical gardens, I took a shot of the sun setting - 3pm. Today I noticed it was setting as I walked home from shopping in town - 2:30pm. With no snow, days are getting not only short but also dim :S
