real hot morning (Iduna pallida)

very humid on that early hour, this lovely one kept on coming to drink. was really worried becuse the garden cats were determined to hunt, i think finally one got a rock pigeon.

Performing acrobatics and risking death by cat for a sip of water! And to think he has to get upright again and tip his head back to swallow each sip ... such effort! But water is a blessing worth whatever effort it takes.
