Red Avadavat
This small finch are found mainly on the flat plains of tropical India & Indian subcontinent. Grasslands of tall grasses or crops often near water are their habitat, this finch is usually seen in small flocks. Red Avadavat is popular as a cage bird due to the colorful plumage of the males in their breeding season.
