Red-backed Shrike with juveniles (Lanius collurio)

I discovered the family yesterday on an evening walk, so I took my digiscoping equipment there today. It took half an hour of just sitting to convince the parents they had nothing to fear. The valid sign was that they took their favorite position: one parent was perched on an exposed blackberry-twig, overlooking the surroundings and acting as a security guard (other pics), while the other parents was feeding the two youngsters inside the blackberry bush.
