Red-bellied Woodpecker-female -young?

Thanks for all the kind words on my last picture
Do other birds molt in the summer months besides the Cardinals? If not then my guess is that this is a young Woodpecker.---Have a great weekend

I've no idea about when your woodies moult, I'm afraid. Maybe someone else will know.

Super Pecker capture Ella...I think most adult birds moult after a tough breeding season.

Yeah, a molting female it looks to be. Nicely captured and we can actually see it's red belly ;)
